About Pastor Mickey Umbehant

Pastor Mickey was born and raised in Cornelia, Georgia and grew up in his dad's auto body shop. He attended Baldwin Church of God and enjoyed the relationship with God that he found there. In 1983, he began serving in pastoral ministry, and has been our Pastor since 2017. He, like all members of New Vision, is thrilled to be "loving God and loving people". He has been married since 1974 to his childhood sweetheart, Teresa Barrett, with whom he grew up in church. They have a terrific son and daughter-in-law, Courtney and Natalie, and a wonderful grandson and lovely granddaughter, Noah and Olivia.
